on one of my trips to austrlia.
my family and i.
were cycling on the kinda "carriage" cum "bicycle" thing.
by the river.
and we saw ducks.
ducks which could submerge their WHOLE body under water.
and for minutes they would disappear.
and appear somewhere somewhat about 4m away
amazing how smelly fat ducks can swim so fast.
anyways.

when they went underwater.
i called them DEAD DUCKS.
and that became my favourite phrase.
for a while.
now its SMELLY.
haha.

happens to be stealing MY phrase.

enough about that.
anyways.
horrible tuition resumes tomorrow.
at 12.30
and i'm flying off to melbourne.
next monday.
which is the 5th.
and i'll be back on the 13th.

i PASSED piano practical exam.
and i SO THOUGHT.
i was gonna fail.
cause i had a 1second break.
in my third piece.
and for my scales.
i screwed.
BIG TIME.
but i still passed that.
and SURPRISINGLY.
i passed SIGHT-READING.
seriously.
but i hate that.
my teacher was like.
if you get a 10/21
i'll be happy for you already.
and 14 happens to be the passing mark.
and guess what.
i got 14 (:

and for my first piece.
i got 27/30

thats counted quite high okayy.

and for my oral.
i got 18/20
and i thought i would get like 13/20.
cause i was not really paying attention to what she was playing.
and i just anyhow "clap" the rthym to it.
and for the "side singing" thingy.
i thought i was slightly out of tune.

but she said i was OKAYY.
YAY!.
the only mistake i had.
was for the one where i had to identify the time signature for the song.
i suck as doing that.

i guessed the answer to that.

and i got 118/150 for overalls.

i know.
not something to be very proud of.

its like 2 STUPID MARKS.
away from a merit.

i only started practising hard like 1 month before my exam.
and fine.
i shall admit.
it wasn't my best attempt.

cause i passed.
when i thought i would fail.

before i got back my results.
i told my mum.
"marmeee.i think i'll fail my piano exam"
she's like.
"fail fail lorh.then take again."

i tried.
persuading her to let me stop taking exams for piano.
but she said NO.
"you must take exams.
its a benchmark to see where you stand"

but i enjoy playing the piano.
